One API Call Does It All

On the Sign Report page, staff can correct any value of the report

Choose Google Gemini, OpenAI or Anthropic Claude, each with its own
API key and model — pick from a ready-made model list, refresh it
from the provider, and check it with Test Connection.
Reads Photos & PDFs
Photos and PDFs uploaded in the Description, the task's attachments or a
chatter note go to the AI with the notes — nameplates, meter readings,
serial numbers and test sheets end up in the report and the Worksheet.
Smart Updates, No Repeats
Generating again adds only what is new: points already in the report are
not repeated, a corrected Worksheet value is corrected in place, and the same
day's additions join the existing sections — Sign Report edits are kept.
Timesheets, Worksheet & Attachments
Every template prints the timesheet lines, the Worksheet and the task's
photos and documents (as download links) in its own style, in Odoo's order
— each one switched on or off in Settings.

No. It builds on top of the Worksheet feature that ships with
Field Service - Reports (industry_fsm_report) and reads/writes its
fields; it does not replace or restyle the Worksheet itself.
Your choice of Google Gemini, OpenAI (ChatGPT) or Anthropic Claude,
called directly over their APIs with a key you configure. Each
provider has its own key and model in Settings, with a ready-made model
list, a "Refresh Model List" button and a "Test Connection" button —
a newer model can be picked without any code change.
The prompt falls back to a single general "Work summary" section
for genuine work notes that don't fit the five equipment-service
sections, rather than fabricating content or rejecting the notes
outright.
A dedicated "AI Service Report Generation" security group, implied
by the standard Field Service User/Manager groups, controls both

No. Edits made with Edit Report Manually or Edit Report through AI apply
to that report and its PDF only — the task's Description, the
customer, the timesheets and the Worksheet keep their values. Undo All

Bot → Report. Only logged-in staff who can edit the task see the

Template" opens a live preview of Odoo's default layout and the three
templates, filled with sample timesheets, Worksheet values and
attachments. Three switches show or hide the timesheets, the Worksheet
and the attachments in the report; every layout shows them in Odoo's
own order, after the report text.
Yes. Photos and PDFs added to the Description, the task's attachments or a
chatter note are sent to the AI together with the notes (Gemini, ChatGPT and
Claude all read them), so readings, nameplates, serial numbers and test
results are written into the report and the Worksheet. Large photos are
scaled down first; a file that cannot be read is listed in the chatter.
Field Service Report PDFs and received emails are never sent back to the
AI.
Only what is new is added. The AI is shown the report it adds to and does
not repeat what it already says; the same day's additions join the
existing sections instead of repeating headings. "Generate AI Report" on
the Worksheet sends only what changed since the last review — a
corrected value (e.g. the manufacturer) is corrected in the report itself,
and with nothing changed you are told so instead of getting a new draft.
Text set on the Sign Report page stays with its section.
