Inventory can be defined as the products/stocks owned by a business meant for resale. Inventory management involves a systematic approach to the acquisition, storage, and subsequent sale of inventories that can be both raw material or finished goods. The key idea behind inventory management is to keep the right amount of stock in the right quantity, at the right location, at the right time, and for the right price. Furthermore, inventory management aids in the integration of the whole enterprise as well as provides automation for regular manual activities. Updating the quantity of items in inventory requires a lot of time and effort. However, with Odoo advanced stock inventory import, it takes only a few steps. You can import Odoo inventory of different products using a single CSV/XLS file.
When you use the inventory module for Odoo, you can simply put basic headers in the file with relevant details under the headers. The system automatically updates the inventory of the listed products as soon as the file gets validated in Odoo. The sum total of the in-hand old quantity along with the product quantity specified in the file is the new quantity of a modified product.
